We are happy to have new participants in the Artisan events this year. Featured here is Deidre Jones, a member of the Minimal Gap Art Collective. Deidre is one of the three artists in her family that includes her sister MZJones, and her dad, Fred Jones.

Deirdre Jones creates art that reflects her love for animals. Using oil paints she catches the interesting personality of each subject on small canvases (4x4, 6x6). Whether she is painting a mischievous pig or a serious draft horse, her renditions of their personalities are apparent as they come to life with detail and color. Deirdre lives in Riner, VA, and spends a lot of time watching over her ducks, roosters, and chickens!
